We look forward to the “2008 Greatest Show in the Peace,” which will celebrate our 86th anniversary. 25,000 attended the “2007 Greatest Show in the Peace.” Even with a rain out Sunday and needing to race Monday and Tuesday. We are looking forward to sunny skies and back to our 30,000 plus attendee’s. Our Exhibition, August 6-10, 2008 is the largest Agriculture Fair this side of Edmonton and one of the largest in B.C. 2007 was an exciting year for us - winning the “2006 Showcase of Agriculture Award for BC” and from winning that award we became the “2007 BC Provincial Agriculture Fair”. 2008 we are hosting the BC Angus Gold Show in our Cattle Division and celebrating our City of Dawson Creek’s 50th Birthday as a City.

We are joining with our neighbour, the Grande Prairie Stompede, to co host this year’s Canvas Auction, Tuesday evening March 18, 2008 at Dukes Country Club, 9929 101 Ave, Grande Prairie. Reception begins at 4:30 pm with the auction to start at 5:30 pm. (Alberta time) Ken Wagner will be our on site person at Evergreen Silver Dollar Casino (Frank Sisson’s) in Calgary on tarp auction sale day.
