Single entries or group entries. You may dance, sing or recite. The top four entries in each class will advance to the C.J.D.C. "Rising Star" finals on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 1:00 PM.

- Jack Jackson from Country Legends will judge the finals of the C.J.D.C. - "Rising Star" Contest.
- The winner of the adult class in the finals will have the opportunity to sing on stage in the "WATERIN' HOLE" Saturday night.
- The winner from each class will have the opportunity to attend the "Red Robinson's Talent Showdown" at the 2009 PNE in Vancouver.
