Sunflower Growing Contest

The sunflower is the official flower of the "fair".  Our contest has grown in honour of this well known Peace River country flower that blooms in August.

Open to children up to 12 years of age.  Bring in your best sunflower and enter to win one of two prizes:  $20 and a wristband for unlimited rides on the midway. 

Entries will be received Thursday August 7 9:00am-6:00 pm at the Horticultural Building on the Fair Grounds.  Judging will take place 7:00pm - 9:00pm.  Categories are tallest and biggest flower head.
