Who:  Open to children ages 5-12. 

 

What:  Draw a picture (8 1/2 x 11” paper) about any type(s) of agriculture in our community: horses, cattle, sheep, llamas, goats, grains, vegetables, harvesting etc. The picture should be coloured and represent what “Agriculture in Our Community” means to the child.  OR Colour a Westcoast Amusements Colouring Contest form.  (See "Westcoast Amusements Colouring Contest" for more information.)

 

When:  Bring entries to the Fall Fair Office at the Fair Grounds by July 21, 2008. 

Why:  Up to 70 winners will be chosen from the Dawson Creek and surrounding area. Each winner will be invited to be our guest at the Fair for one day and go on a scavenger hunt of the many on site displays of livestock and agriculture in our community. Their name then goes into a draw and each day five children will win a wristband for unlimited rides at the Midway!
