2012 "Greatest Show in the Peace"

August 7th - 12

for the 90th Aniversary

Be sure to be with us as a Competitor, Fan, Sponsor/Donor for a great party to celebrate our “History” and “Western Heritage.” We will be “Kicking Off” with a Country Music concert on the Tuesday in the Grandstand, complete with Sound Stage, Big screens, Suite (tents) rentals and special reserved seating infield level. Funds from the concert will pay off the monies needed for the Grandstand roof which will be up for August. Our hopes are to have a Heritage Rodeo as an added feature for Thursday.

Workshop & Budget Planning Meeting will be held at the Auction Mart, 5:30-9:30 PM.
We will be having supper at 6:30 for all Board of Directors members and ad hoc committee’s. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT PLANNING MEETING FOR OUR FAIR – LET CONNIE KNOW IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND AND ALTERNATE ARRAGEMENTS WILL BE MADE.

Thank you to all who donated or purchased at the Auction and came to the Bull Riding Event.

We raised $103,000.00 over the two days!

Dawson Creek Exhibition & Stampede have partnered with Cody Snyder Invitational Professional Bull Riding, Encana Events Centre October 21st and 22nd, 2012. DCEA will be raising funds to “Raise the Roof” on our Grandstand.

OCTOBER 21ST DCEA will host a dinner and auction sale. Tables of 10 for dinner are for sale. Auction will have two trips on offer and the 12 Bulls who will be in October 22nd Finals up for sale.

Event will be a great fundraiser last year we realized $30,000 for the Roof. Come take part as a Sponsor, Purchase a table of 10 for dinner, donate or purchase an Auction Item.
